Day 11
Into the Green
The road climbs into the forested highlands of Mount Mbeliling, where a trek leads through one of Flores’s lush landscapes. Later, the trail gives way to the cool waters of Cunca Rami waterfall. By evening, arrive at Lake Sano Nggoang, where the mountains settle into stillness.
Overnight near Lake Sano Nggoang.

Day 12
Across the Highlands
Begin beside Lake Sano Nggoang, exploring the landscape around its quiet volcanic waters. Then descend toward the broad green geometry of the Lembor rice fields before the road carries you deeper into the mountains. Tomorrow, the trail leads to Wae Rebo.
Overnight in the Denge/Dintor area.
Scene 05
We Made It
EXT. WAE REBO — INDONESIA — DAY
The GROUP and their GUIDE hike up the trail. After 3.5 hours, their pace has slowed. It's been beautiful, but the anticipation is thick.
CAMERA PANS UP as the tired hikers reach the clearing.
Cone-shaped, grass-thatched huts form a semicircle. Mountains rise behind them, clouds actually below the peaks.

The guide smiles and takes the phone.
They pose for what may be the coolest family photo ever.
As they walk toward the village to meet their host, a rust-colored mark is visible on Mirabelle's little scarf — right where she leaned against the signpost.

Day 13
The Village Above the Clouds
A full-day trek leads to Wae Rebo, a mountain village known for its distinctive cone-shaped houses. Arrive above the clouds, meet your local hosts, and share the village’s welcome and a traditional lunch before making the return journey.
Overnight in the Denge/Dintor area.

Day 14
Back Toward the Coast
Leave the highlands behind and follow the road back toward Labuan Bajo, stopping at Cunca Pelias waterfall along the way. After days of mountain trails and village life, the coast brings a change of pace.

Day 15
The Hidden World
Explore Mirror Cave, then travel by boat to Rangko Cave, where clear saltwater glows blue beneath the limestone. Continue to Golo Mori Beach before watching the sun sink beyond the ridgelines from Sylvia Hill.
